Classic Menswear Gifts for Girls

Menswear is hands-down my favorite look! I wish more girls would rock the "borrowed from the boys" aesthetic.  I find it to be the ultimate source of confidence through clothing.  To that end, I am sharing the one and only gift guide I plan to curate this season: a collection of classic menswear gifts for girls.  I much prefer to invest in timeless classics than to buy season after season of fast fashion trends.  All of my picks here are edited with that value in mind.  Enjoy!

1. Express Tuxedo Jacket  currently $59

This jacket will instantly elevate a casual pair of jeans or lend itself to an unexpectedly refined alternative formal look for a special event.  It comes in black as well as white.  And it's a great price!

2. Goorin Bros. Wide Brim Fedora currently $75

This hat is beyond classic; it's iconic.  You'll wear it over and over for years.  Guess what? I just bought one.

3. Cole Haan Wingtip Oxfords currently $120

I've owned these shoes in brown leather for at least a year and adore them. Not only were they comfortable straight out of the box, but they are a quintessential menswear style.  And yes, I just purchased a second pair in black leather.

4. Strathberry MC Midi Bag approx. $470 (sells from Scotland)

This is quite possible the most gorgeous handbag in the universe.  I love how absolutely unisex it is.  It comes in a variety of colors, though I favor the tan.

5. Larsson & Jennings Norse Watch $315

This watch is simple and elegant.  And like the Strathberry bag, it is quite quite unisex, which often works better for girls dressing in menswear than items made specifically for men, which are often to large, roomy, or bulky for women's frames.  This watch is at the top of my holiday wish list.

6. Miansai Screw Cuff Bracelet $200

Stack this on beside the Larsson & Jennings watch and you've got yourself a pretty dashing arm swag situation. Clean minimalism is definitely the appeal here.

7. Louis Vuitton Victory Boat Bandana $265

I love an item that can do double or triple duty, and this one sure can.  For the consummate menswear look, wear it as a pocket square.  For a midway look, wear it as a necktie, and for a more feminine look, use it as a headscarf.  I can't resist equestrian or nautical prints lately, and this bandana certainly hits the mark.

Happy shopping, all!  Invest in classics, and add a menswear touch to your wardrobe or your gift giving this season.
