Invariably, Easter is a day we spend with extended family. This year, my husband and I decided to carve out a little time for ourselves a day in advance of the holiday, and headed to our usual spot for lunch at the Four Seasons.
Building on my previous post about shopping the closet, I went out in a thrifted dress that I originally bought for a trip to Punta Cana last May. Thrifting is a great way to shop sustainably! The challenge, however, is finding sizing that is flattering, especially if you're petite. The upside, of course, is that having an item custom tailored usually isn't a big deal because the purchase point on so many thrift/vintage/consignment store items is so affordable to begin with.
My dress was originally from Anthropologie and I believe I paid about $30 for it used. I did have it taken in to fit more flatteringly on my barely-there bust, but other than that, it was ready to wear and in great shape!
