I've arrived at the halfway point of my "Very Vintage May" self-challenge, and I'm both impressed with myself, and slightly more fatigued than I expected.
As it turns out, I own a lot of secondhand clothing. I'm proud to say that I have used at least one secondhand piece every day this month. However, I am realizing that a fair share of what I own is investment pieces that I bought new, but either have kept for a very long time, or intend to keep for a very long time, and there's value in those items too, in terms of adding to the Slow Fashion discussion.
For today's post, I'm featuring a secondhand Alice + Olivia top that I can't stop reaching for lately. It's just an easy piece to wear lots of different ways, which is one of the attributes I am always looking for in the clothes I buy.
I love styling a look where feminine and masculine pieces can come into conversation with each other. I also love adding playful elements to both my casual and formal looks, and was delighted when, after borrowing my husband's black suspenders several times, he finally gave them to me. You know, as if we don't share a bedroom, haha.
