Sustainable Luxe for Summer

Greetings, readers!

The name of my game is shopping the closet to reuse classic pieces in lots of different ways, and to that end, I gave myself a personal challenge to style a skirt I've typically only used around the winter holidays for a summer look.

The skirt I'm wearing is the high-low ball skirt by Adrianna Papell.  I've worn it lots and lots (including here and here) because it is a favorite (and surprisingly affordable) statement piece that is both packable and petite-friendly.

GUESS WHAT? I'm wearing an entirely secondhand look besides the ball skirt. The blouse (which am obsessed with) was a hand-me-down (haha, funny to say that as an adult) from Meileena of The Sartorial Muse, the Jimmy Choo satin sandals are from Fillmore & 5th's Palo Alto location, and the Chanel bag was an online purchase from Fashionphile (excellent experience - highly recommend!). As a lifetime environmentalist, I could not be happier to create an effortlessly luxe look that does not compromise my values around sustainability.
