It's been a really hot summer here in northern California and I cannot get enough of easy, breezy weekend wear. Speaking of breezy, the wind nearly took my hat in several of these photos.
Lately, linen is the name of my game. Old Ann Taylor pants here, and secondhand top from my gal pal Meileena of The Sartorial Muse. It's a cute cropped length that's not too croppy for me to be wearing at "my age," haha. I think I could wear it to a family picnic or run into a coworker while running errands and not feel like "oh wow! I'm way outside the normal boundaries of my relationship with you!" Certified introvert here.
These sandals are like the Swiss Army knife of summer footwear. They are comfy! They have heels! They look edgy! But not too edgy! Are they vintage? Are they new? I can drive in them! I can walk in them! I can go to a fiesta in them! Basically, they do it all. They are the Clarks "Ledella Trail" sandal and I highly recommend them.
You know, I'm usually summer's number one fan but to be honest, I'm ready for the temperatures to cool down a bit and give the tweed and turtlenecks in my closet a chance to come out.
