I'm really not much of a risk-taker or a rule-breaker. I've found that people commonly mistake me for the kind of girl who is. The world is filled with assumptions, and a lot of us see what we want to see. I actually work a very responsible day job and pack healthy lunches for my kids every morning.
The challenge I love is pushing the boundaries from within, which actually takes a lot more creativity than just blatantly disregarding laws, rules, and regulations. I've only ever picked up a hitchhiker, and that was a sincere effort to carpool. You know what actually drives me crazy? Blatant rule breakers who make it hard to get the high-road work done.
We are polarized in so many ways: the angel people versus the science people, the philanthropic people versus the self-starters, the high roaders versus the whatever-it-takes people. And so on. I wish we weren't, but that's probably here to stay. I'll work on just making my peace.
Making a side note here to recognize that rules in place to breed oppression are quite fine to break.
Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful weekend.
